Another 2 months pass since I have written and I was reminded this weekend how much I enjoy writing. So here we are...
It's funny how the smallest things can send a type of familiarty through your mind. This weekend I laid on my sister's couch, wrapped in the same brown blanket that I would wrap up in a year ago. We watched the Mavericks play and laughed at our jokes we would make about Dampier's small hands and JJ thinking he is awesome. I made the comment that I am at my funniest whenever I'm there and it's really sad that all of the outside world will never know of our witty jokes.
Lia has her second sugery on Thursday. I have learned a lot watching my family go through this, and have come to the realization that everyone should experience a trying time atleast once in our lives. We never really know our limits until we are pushed to know them. My sister has got to be one of the strongest people I have ever really met. I don't know if her and Corey will ever know the number of people that they have touched through all of this.
As for wedding plans... Things are really looking up. We have found a venue, set a date, bought my dress, hired the photographer and baker and florist. We have the "big details" taken care of and I am not even offically engaged yet. Psh, this wedding stuff isn't really that hard.
